In time for the Penafrancia Festival 2012, the PBN Broadcasting Network, Incorporated, in partnership with the City Government of Naga and Avenue Plaza Hotel, and in cooperation with the Department of Tourism V, is organizing the first-ever Bicol Travel and Food Expo (BITFEX) and 11th Regional Tourism Congress on September 12-16, 2012, The Tent, Avenue Plaza Hotel, Naga City.
BITFEX is the coming together of the key players in the tourism, food service and hospitality industries from all over the country to promote their respective products, services, events and tourist attractions under one roof in the Bicol Region. Travel and tour agencies, local government units, hotels and restaurants, culinary schools, airlines and transportation companies, including the suppliers, distributors, manufacturers, retailers, importers, exporters, franchising companies and small-scale businesses on foods and beverages and other related businesses are expected to join.
BITFEX will serve as the best venue for the exhibitors and sponsors to network and market their businesses in Bicol. The event will also feature the Bicol Food Festival inter-school and open competition, travel and tour-guiding seminars, conferences and fora, nightly shows, raffles and other exciting activities. Sponsors will receive maximum exposures in the promotional materials of the event, like flyers, posters, on-site billboard and streamers, local newspaper and PBN website ad and onstage/video presentations at the venue. The event shall likewise be covered and promoted extensively by the five (5) radio and two (2) television stations of PBN Broadcasting Network, Inc, the largest and multi-awarded network in the Bicol Region. These marketing efforts are geared towards getting the maximum awareness and exposures of the estimated 3 million visitors that visit Naga City during the annual celebration of the Penafrancia Festival, one of the most popular and biggest Marian event in the country. Booth rental ranges from P20,000 to P25,000 (2m x 3m to 1.5m x 2m).
