There are 36 banks operating in the province, nine (9) of which are rural banks, thirteen (13) are private and three (3) are government banks.
Bukidnon has colleges and universities. The state owned Central Mindanao University (CMU) in Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon and Bukidnon State College (BSC) in Malaybalay City and sectarian schools – Mountain View College (MVC) in Mt. Nebo, Valencia City and San Isidro College (SIC) in Malaybalay City. Other tertiary schools found in Bukidnon are: Mindanao Arts and Technological Institute in Malaybalay, Valencia Colleges, San Agustin Technical Institute in Valencia, Alemarz Technical Institute in Valencia, Bukidnon Midland College in Malaybalay, Cultural Mission Academy in Kibawe, Bukidnon, Maramag Colleges, Philippine College Foundation in Valencia, Quezon Institute of Technology, San Fernando Community College, Southern Bukidnon Foundation Academy in Don Carlos, and the Valencia Colleges in Valencia City.
b. Communication Services
Telecommunications services is provided by the Bureau of Telecommunications (BUTEL) and private operators like Radio Communications Philippines, Inc. (RCPI) and Philippine Telegraph and Telephone (PT & T). Southern Telecommunication Company (SOTELCO) operates a Domestic and International Direct Dial System in the City of Malaybalay and in the city of Valencia and Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. It also operates an operator – assisted domestic and international long distance service in the Poblacion of Talakag, Quezon, Maramag and Don Carlos and Damilag, Manolo Fortich; Musuan, Maramag and Bagontaas, Valencia. It is also a service provider of INTERNET.
Philippine Communications, Inc. (PHILCOM) operates in Malaybalay and Valencia. Its services include Domestic and International Direct Dialing System and also a provider of INTERNET. Its future expansion of about 8,590 lines will cover the municipalities of Manolo Fortich, Quezon, Don Carlos, Maramag, Impasugong, Libona and Sumilao.

There are 68 private hospitals/clinics in the province. We have also Bukidnon Provincial Hospital in Malaybalay City and the rest is scattered in Maramag, San Fernando, Kibawe, Kalilangan, Talakag and Malitbog.
