Holy Infant Festival – falls ever third Sunday of January, Sinulog Street Dancing in honor of Sr. Sto. Niño. This has become a competition between venerating contingents of the Holy Infant’s devotees.
Civil Registration Month – month of February is advocacy month to remind one and all of our responsibilities, rights and moral obligations as citizens of the Republic.
Heart to Heart – 14th day of February is Valentine’s Day, a celebration of all lovers, reminiscing the stages of their past.
Love Concert – a Post Valentine’s Day Presentation every February 22.
Panaghiusa sa Plaza – every second and last friday of the month, concert at the park.
Women’s Day Celebration – occurs every March 8, a special day for women. A woman in action, Pro-Active in her rights, privileges and responsibilities.
Holy Week – a religious celebration on the Passion of Christ (traditional). Falls every March or April.
Sand Castle Building – Every Easter Sunday, exhibits the creativity of the different teams in building castle made out of sand in a given time.
Mass Wedding – Every April a free Civil Wedding Ceremony for Dapitanons.
National Chess Tournament – a competition of best chess players nationwide compete every April.
Kite Making and Flying – a competition of the best and colorful kites falls every May.
WOW na WOW Talaga – Regional showcase of the region’s agro – tourism products, sites and destinations
Flower Festival / Santacruzan – every May 31, religious celebration in reverence to the Holy Cross. A tie to reminisce the efforts of Queen Helena with Prince Constantino in search for the Holy Cross.
Hudyaka sa Dapitan ‘09 – a week long celebration from May 29 to June 7, show window of Zamboanga del Norte’s best, agri-tourism booth, costume, of the fair ladies, street dancing and face off participated in by the different municipalities of the province.
Rizal’s Birth Anniversary Celebration – an annual commemorative program in honor of the greatest of the Malay race, the Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal celebrated every June 19.
Charter Day Celebration – every June 22 Dapitan City marks the signing of its charter on June 22,1963 by then President Diosdado Macapagal with fitting activities manifesting pride in its becoming the first Shrine City of the country.
Agro – Trade and Food Fair – July 16-30, Dapitan City showcases their Cuisine and Agri – Products.
Dr. Jose Rizal’s Arrival – the 17th of July is the observance of Dr. Jose Rizal’s arrival in Dapitan.
Sinug – July 24 is a dance processions ”Sinug” (sinulog) in honor of the City’s patron saint, St. James the Greater. Eye catching costumes, waving of branches and unison shout of “VIVA SENIOR SANTIAGO!” make it unique from other festival.
Kinabayo Festival - occurs from June 12 to July 25 of every year, with centerpiece events happening from the 16th to the 25th of July, and culminating with the annual feast of St. James, the Greater, Dapitan patron saint. Traditionally, this festival is a re-enactment of the Battle of Covadonga, where the Spanish forces under Pelagio took their last stand against the Saracens and were only able to reverse the tide of war with the miraculous apparition of St. James, the Greater.
Kinabayo Festival Street Dancing Competition –the centerpiece of Dapitan’s annual fiesta which is celebrated every July 25. A reenactment of the Spanish-Moorish wars particularly the Battle of Covadonga. The blaze of local colors and innovations make this annual festival the one to watch and join in.
Rizal's Departure from Dapitan – every July 31 the Dapitanon’s commemorate the departure of Rizal in Dapitan City.
WOW Dapitan – tours to the different sites and spots of the City with the school’s.
Kayaking – month of September is a competition between teams who show-off their maneuvering skill in a plastic paddleboat at along the Liboran River.
Dance Contest – every September 26, a parade of dances from North down South of the Philippines.
Tourism Awareness Week – a week long advocacy on tourism Awareness programs and in line with the Department’s globalization.
Children’s Month Celebration – a gathering of children where their feelings, rights and freedom are expressed thru the arts of drama, stage plays, song, dance, poster making and sports celebrated every month of October.
Cooperative Month Celebration – Cooperative, the best venue to train would be entrepreneurs and managers. On this occasion we do not only socialize but further encourage others to share the fruits of cooperation. It is also strengthens bonding between and among members and it is celebrated every month of October.
Palarong Pinoy – October is game day for Filipino children to play past time games for fun.

Handuraw Festival - Rizal's Death Anniversary December 30 is declared a national holiday. Dapitan City, which served as Dr. Jose Rizal's home for 4 years in exile, highlights this occasion every year with activities that focus on his life, works, and ideas.
Rizal’s Death Anniversary – a commemorative program honoring the great heroism of the national Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, towards his country and countrymen. Half-day lecture on the life and works of the hero and cultural presentation highlights the celebration every December 30.
New Year’s Eve Contest – a spectacular year-end salvo of fun and excitement awaiting the New Year every December 31.
