• April 7,8, & 9 – SUMMER S.A.Y.A FESTIVAL
(Sayawan, Awitin, Yugyugan, Atbp.)
A three-day summer event which features various activities for the entertainment and enjoyment of the people. It is the annual summer festival of Olongapo City with the objective to attract both locals and tourists to visit and experience Olongapo City every summer. Featured activities are: Trade Fair / Exhibit, Fun Run.

• April 28,29, & 30 – SIBIT-SIBIT FESTIVAL
Sibit-Sibit, or a small sailboat, has always been a part of the history and culture of Olongapo City, which was once a fishing village. In the year 1993, a summer festival basically centered on sailboat race, was organized by the Subic Bay Resorts Association, Inc. (SUBRA) in Barrio Barretto, Olongapo City. The festival, which was last held in 1996, aimed to entice tourists to come and spend the summer in Olongapo City.

• April / May – HOLY WEEK OBSERVATION
During the Lenten Season, the City Government of Olongapo in coordination with the Catholic Churches in the city prepares various activities with the objective of joining with the whole Christian community in the observance of Holy Week. Schedule of Pabasa, Lenten Recollection, and Re-enactments are posted for the information of the public. The Holy Week Observance is highlighted by the Most Attractive Kubol Contest open to all barangay and the Easter Fun Day arranged for the children of Olongapo.

• May (1st / 2nd week) – SANTA CRUZAN
The event is spearheaded by the Olongapo City Fiesta Committee. The Miss Olongapo and Miss Teen Olongapo candidates and winners participate in the procession as sagalas.

• May (3rd / 4th week) – FLORES DE MAYO
The town folk choose pretty young ladies to represent the various characters of the commemoration: the "Accolades of Our Lady". Each one is dressed in an exquisite, colorful gown, looking as regal as the Reina (Queen) she portrays. Reina Fe (Faith), Reina Esperanza (Hope), Reina Caridad (Charity), Reina Mora (Muslim), Reina Banderada (Flag), and Reina Justicia (Justice) walk with their consorts under hand-carried bamboo arches decked with color-themed native flowers.
The highlight of the procession is the magestic Reina Elena (Queen Helena) who walks with her consort, Prinsipe Constantino, under a huge canopy of May flowers. Immediately behind her is a float carrying the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by a brass band that lends the festive sounds to the procession.
• May 27 – Olongapo City Liberation Day
• June 1 – Olongapo City Hood Celebration (special non-working day)
Celebration to commemorate the day when Olongapo officially became a City.

• June 12 – Independence Day Celebration
The entire nation is set to celebrate the yearly anniversary of the declaration of the Philippine Independence. A simultaneous flag-raising, wreath laying ceremonies and foot parade enjoined by the different sectors of society in various historical places within the city led by Her Excellency President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and the City Officials.

THIRD QUARTER
July / August / September

• September 27 – World Tourism Day (Tourism Office)
The Department of Tourism Region III is spearheading the celebration of the World Tourism Day on September 27, 2006 with its yearly theme. DOT3 is inviting all cities and provinces to join and celebrate the said event thru a series of activities. Here in Olongapo, the City Tourism Office celebrates this event with a week-long activities that involves students from different schools in the city both in High School and College Level (Private and Public) to participate and join in the following categories: Poster Making, Essay Writing, Slogan Making, Interpretative Dance, and Modern Dance
• September – Philippine Travel Mart (SM Mega Mall)
The Philippine Travel Mart is the largest assembly of all tourism-related establishments and Local Government Units (LGUs) with existing and potential tourist destination. Aside from the marketing and promotion opportunity this event shall provide to its participants, the highlight of the activities will be a direct business encounter with foreign and domestic buyers.

October / November / December

• October – Subic Bay Reunion
Grand reunion of retired and active military servicemen who were stationed in the Philippines, as well as base employees in the former Subic Naval Base. Activities such as grand welcome, tour, mardi gras, etc. are organized for the guests.

• October 31 – Halloween Special
• November 1 – All Saint’s Day
• November 2 – All Soul’s Day
• November 15 – National Health Day (City Health)
• November – City Fiesta Queen – Second Canvassing
• November 20-21 – Kristong Hari Festival
The Diocese of Iba celebrates the Solemnity of Christ the King with the “Kristong Hari Festival” with different parishes to host the event and will be highlighted by a series of activities and street festivals like; street dances, dance interpretations, floats, mascot, and higantes.

• November 24 – Volunteer’s Day Celebration
This pertains to the annual celebration in Olongapo City of the formal turnover of the facilities in the former U.S Naval Facility to the Subic Bay Freeport, newly crafted under RA 7227. The City has the opportunity to reminisce on the sacrifices and hard work of Olongapo volunteers in securing, guarding, inventorying, and cleaning all parts, buildings, offices, residences at the former U.S facility.

• December - Mayor’s Cup
The Local Golfers of Olongapo City has formed a golf association, Olongapo International Golfers Association, with the aim of promoting the social and health benefits of engaging in golf, instill friendship, camaraderie and goodwill among the members within and with other related associations, and to actively participate in civic projects or voluntary work to the community.
Dubbed as the First Mayor’s Golf Invitational, this inaugural event is aimed at raising funds for the city for the scholarship of poor and deserving children of Olongapo City.

• December – Olongapo City Fiesta Queen
Third Canvassing & Coronation Night
• December – Olongapo City Fiesta Queen
- the Olongapo City Fiesta Committee spearheads the event and prepares various activities to coincide with the fiesta such as the search for Miss Olongapo Queen. The City Fiesta is highlighted by a grand parade which showcases the Miss Olongapo Queen and her Court, City Officials, Barangay Officials, Government Employees, NGO’s, and various groups and sectors.

• December 25 – Christmas Celebration
• December 31 – City Fiesta Celebration (City Parade)
