Is the city’s simple way of saying “Mabuhay and Welcome to Tangub” which celebrates the feast of Saint Michael, the Archangel every 29th of September. Dalit means “offering”, which presents the unique way of fostering, friendship, unity and love of all Tangubanons to their visitors. The festival showcases varied activities and presentations, which include rituals and dances that depict the Filipino way of life.

3. CHRISTMAS SYMBOLS FESTIVAL
Christmas Time in Tangub is always celebrated with great merriment and colorful activities. This is possible because of the one of a kind display of indigenous and low cost giant Christmas Symbols at our city plaza and highway barangays for competition. Today, Tangub City has gained another tagline as the Christmas Symbols Capital of the Phils.” Recent reports from the Department of Tourism indicated that Tangub City is included in their calendar of activities as one of the tourism destinations in the country during the “Christmas Season. Foreign and local tourists came in by busloads every night in order to experience and witness these yearly festivities in a very native setting. A dramatic increase of our tourist arrivals has been experienced. It is perceived that the contributing factors for the influx of the tourists during this year is because of the unique interpretation and presentation of the different Christmas symbols of various shapes & sizes lavishly displayed at our plaza and barangays, a really breathtaking sight to behold that catches everyone’s eye and imagination.

4. HARVEST FESTIVAL
With the vision of becoming the agri-business and learning center in Northwestern Mindanao, the administration hatched another concept of promoting our local agricultural products. In line with its implementing arm, the City Agriculture Office in coordination with the City Tourism Office, the First Harvest Festival was held last August 10, 2000. The activity showcased the products of the Techno-Demo Farm at Mantic with the different kinds of melon and watermelons sold and promoted. Other agricultural farm products were also included like sasso chicken (native chicken), goats and swine. On that ocassion free tasting of the fruits which were displayed, was one of the highlights. In the afternoon, a lecture on swine and native chicken (sasso) raising was done at the function hall to the farmers and other interested future producers. This was initiated by the City Agriculture Office.

This Harvest Festival is another avenue in promoting the agri-tourism program of the city thus giving a chance to the farmer and business sectors to interact with-each other, creating business matching opportunities for the people of Tangub City.
