Katkat Sakripisyo (Dipolog City - every Holy Week) - Good Friday, a mountain climbing/trekking activity and Via Crucis participated in by the catholic community of Zamboanga del Norte and the neighboring municipalities.
Dipolog P’gsalabuk Festival –P’gsalabuk is a Subano term that means “togetherness”. This is the biggest festival of Dipolog City celebrating unity amonth the tri-people of Dipolog; Moro, subano and migrants. This month long celebration features talents and sports competitions, arts and trade exhibits, special games, garden shows ans cultural presentations. Street dancing highlights the event on the eve of the feast of Saint Vincent’s Ferrer, Dipolog’s patron saint, celebrated every third Saturday of May.
HUDYAKA FESTIVAL – a week long celebration from May 29 to June 7, show window of Zamboanga del Norte’s best, agri-tourism booth, costume, of the fair ladies, street dancing and face off participated in by the different municipalities of the province.
Dipolog P’gsalabuk Festival – 3rd week of April to 4th Saturday of May is the P’gsalabuk Festival, the festival starts 2nd week of May with colourful ethnic inspired street dancing, sports, concerts, pageants, cultural shows and culminates on July 1st, Adlaw sa Dipolog celebration.
Kinabayo Festival - occurs from June 12 to July 25 of every year, with centerpiece events happening from the 16th to the 25th of July, and culminating with the annual feast of St. James, the Greater, Dapitan patron saint. Traditionally, this festival is a re-enactment of the Battle of Covadonga, where the Spanish forces under Pelagio took their last stand against the Saracens and were only able to reverse the tide of war with the miraculous apparition of St. James, the Greater.
