OTM is the biggest, longest running, and most reputable travel event in India focusing on outbound travel. It provides an annual opportunity for organizations around the world to showcase their products to a large cross-section of the travel trade industry and consumers in the two principal cities of New Delhi and Mumbai where the biggest outbound traffic is generated. OTM 2013, now on its 23rd edition, is scheduled on Feb 8 - 10 in Mumbai and Feb 14 - 16 in New Delhi. DOT is set to mount a 75-sqm pavilion which can house both the destinations and members of the travel trade. A Philippine Roadshow covering Kolkatta and Hyderabad is slated to be held to maximize the presence of the Philippine delegation. More than 1,500 exhibitors from thirty five (35) countries participated in OTM 2012. There were 941 exhibitors and more than 22,000 visitors from all over India. Activities include product presentation, sales calls, and developing new business ties. Participation is open to DOT - accredited destination - based tour operators that sell destination packages, as well as hotels, resorts and attraction representatives / sales managers from various regions in the country.
